A Day of Insight and Interaction
The day brought together an inspiring mix of participants: some from businesses with over 20 years of employee ownership experience, others just beginning their journey. Industries represented included architecture, engineering, pharmaceuticals, food production, agriculture, and event management — proof that employee ownership truly spans every sector.
As always, the event covered the fundamentals: the legal responsibilities of trustees and directors, and how EOT governance structures work in practice. But what really made the day stand out were the interactive sessions — lively discussions, real-life case studies, and even some hands-on role play!
A few brave volunteers stepped into the shoes of trustees and directors, tackling complex issues and seeing first-hand how decisions play out in real situations. It made for some thought-provoking — and at times entertaining — learning moments.
